Flatlands Project

Flatland takes place in a two dimensional world where almost everyone is a square. Parents strive to have children with more sides or angles. But the woman in flatland are simply line segments. In the second part of the novel we are introduced to a new dimension called Lineland. Lineland is one dimensional and more imaginative. Another new dimension we see is Spaceland. Spaceland is three dimensional and more powerful than the the other dimensions. The narrator eventually believes that there are other dimensions besides his own which is flatland.
